Giggles Day Nursery

Rance Peters Designs Ltd

March — October 2001

Two retail units in a parade of shops were converted into a day nursery.

The first section of the length of the building was split down the middle, creating space for the reception on the right and the main nursery on the left. Because of the uncompromising rectangular space, a curved wall splits the middle of the nursery and runs into the dining/play area.

The back area contains a double height space in which a staff office is located on the first floor, with a staff room below on the ground floor.
