BA (Hons) Interior Design

Kingston University

1992 — 1995

Completing a BA (Hons) in Interior Design at Kingston University allowed me to gain experience through the successful approach to interior architectural problems involving multiple spaces and uses.

This has equipped me with the ability to take on architectural projects with varying levels of environmental control and servicing requirements principally the conversion of existing buildings with clearly defined spatial characteristics.

'Working on existing buildings means coming to terms with them; such work involves juggling constraints additional to those arising from the program and from building regulations. These new constraints also act as a stimulus to the imagination; they enable architectural solutions to be developed which would never have been invented from scratch.'
