Workshop Facilitator: Architecture for Everyone — Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust and RMJM Architects
Architecture for Everyone (2009 — 2011) was a UK-wide initiative between the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust and RMJM Architects, designed to enable young people aged 18 — 25 to use their talents for design and enthusiasm for their community in a range of creative ways related to architecture and urban design.
As part of the pilot campaign, a national competition and series of workshops in various cities around the UK identified the most talented young people. Six finalists each won a place on an intensive summer course at the Harvard Graduate School of Design in Boston.
I was a facilitator at the London workshop, which involved giving the students a portfolio critique and taking the students through a day long brief, culminating in presenting an architectural scheme.

Darryl currently holds a Green Belt under the Filipino Martial Arts (FMA) system 'Doce Pares Eskrima'.
